The same code can point to a bad sensor, a loose connector, or a real mechanical problem, so we test the circuit and the part before anything gets ordered. You approve the diagnosis before the repair, and the repair fixes the cause instead of clearing the symptom.
Bring the car in when the check engine light comes on, when it cranks but will not start, or when it idles rough or stalls at stoplights. Driving on some faults is harmless and driving on others can ruin a catalytic converter, and we will tell you plainly which kind yours is.
